The Modern Era - 1950s

Some would say that the beginning of the modern era was the 1950s ... certainly if you look at the fashions of the day then I think you'd have to agree.

It is also a timeframe that has sunk into the Western conciousness as some kind of utopian period - if you don't know the word, it pretty much means: ideal, the time when everything was just right!

Now I'm not entirely sure if this is true, however the fashions from that time are interesting, especially considering that most of the wedding pictures here on this site are from the 1950s, it follows that you may well be interested in the other styles from then.
